The latest task for 7S in Science was to build their own model habitat using a shoe box or cereal box and whatever else they could get their hands on.  They were to include labels to describe the features of the habitat and the physical factors such as temperature and rainfall.  They also needed to include the organisms that lived in the habitat and the ways in which they were adapted to survive there.

As you can see from the photo the standard set was very high.  7S created a number of exceptional models that included items such as a working waterfall, a model sun (torch) and a sealed pond complete with water.  We had ponds, seasides, caves, African plains, jungles and meadows as a great range of habitats.  The information included was excellent and 7S must be congratulated on the effort that they made in this task.  Several models received level 6 and level 7 marks as well as house points to go with them.
