Over the summer Executive Headteacher Raymond Friel welcomed Don Foster, MP for Bath, to the College to see the building project for the New Sixth nearing completion.

Mr Foster has been very supportive throughout the project and was delighted to see the progress which has been made.

He described the new development as “an iconic gateway building at the southern entrance to the city.”

Plans are now well underway to raise funds for Phase 2 of the development, which will provide more classroom spaces and a 250-seat auditorium. The New Sixth will open its doors to students for the first time this September.
