The New Sixth Open Evening
Thursday 7th May 6.30pm – 9.00pm
The New Sixth is the joint provision for the sixth forms of Saint Gregory’s Catholic College and St Mark’s Church of England School. All students at Saint Gregory’s have a place in The New Sixth provided they achieve the GCSE grades required for their chosen courses.
The New Sixth provides a unique post-16 experience in the state sector in Bath and North East Somerset; a high-quality sixth form education with outstanding pastoral support and a wide range of enrichment activities, inspired by the Christian values that our students have been used to at Saint Gregory’s. We hope that students will feel very much at home in The New Sixth, but it will also be different as we recognise that students are now young adults and will therefore enjoy more space and freedom, while still benefitting from the structure and ethos of a school sixth form environment.
You are very welcome to come and see your new sixth form, meet the teachers, and find out more about the courses that are available. Our Open Evening will be held on Thursday 7 May, 6.30pm – 9.00pm.
