We are delighted to announce that Saint Gregory’s has been awarded reaccreditation of the British Council’s prestigious International School Award, in recognition of its work to bring the world into the classroom.
The International School Award celebrates the achievements of schools that do exceptional work in international education. Fostering an international dimension in the curriculum is at the heart of the British Council’s work with schools, so that young people gain the cultural understanding and skills they need for life work in today’s world.
Saint Gregory’s international work includes Erasmus+ partnership projects, as well as other links with schools across Europe and beyond. Students have the opportunity to meet and work alongside visiting students from many different languages and cultures, as well as the opportunity to travel abroad on trips or visits.
The International School Award reflects the international ethos that is embedded throughout Saint Gregory’s, with year-round international activity and collaborative work with international partner schools.
