A group of St Gregory’s students returned from China this week carrying, not just souvenirs from the amazing cultural and historical sites they visited, but also a trophy.

The 10-day trip, organised by the Bath Sino Educational Partnership, visited Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai. At the heart of the trip were the three days spent in our Chinese partner schools in the heritage city of Suzhou.

Ryan B (Y11), Pearl F and Nathan S (Y9), along with three girls from Royal High School, competed against twelve other teams of British and Chinese students in the 2017 Model World Heritage Conference. They did their schools proud and won the trophy for “Best Original Ideas”.

Planning for the 2018 trip has begun, look out for announcements about how to register interest.
