St Gregory’s has welcomed its first batch of Mandarin Excellence Programme scholars onto the programme. Headteacher, Ann Cusack, presented them all with a certificate and spoke of how proud the school was to see the first batch of Year 7s launched on this exciting pathway to proficiency in Chinese. The students have committed to extra classes, homeworks and activity days with the exciting prospect of two weeks studying in China at the end of Year 8. 加油 ! (which means ‘go for it!’).
