Year 9 Netball – The Year 9 Netball team entered the North – NSW Regional U15 State Schools Festival 2018 on Tuesday 13th March.
They had an amazing first round of games vs Oldfield, Colston’s Girls, St Bede’s Catholic College, Kings of Wessex. They did not lose a game with some outstanding attacking play down the court and inspirational defensive work in the circle. They got through to the semi-finals vs Katharine Lady Berkeley’s School. It was a very close game, with battling end to end from both teams with Saint Gregory’s narrowly missing out by 1 goal. A fantastic achievement girls. Well done on your continued success!

Year 10 Netball – On Monday 12 March Saint Gregory’s Year 10 netball team played against Norton Hill. It was a very convincing win for Saint Gregory’s with lovely movement down the court. Exceptional defence in the circle with brilliant interceptions leading to turnovers being converted into goals. The final score was 26-10 to Saint Gregory’s. Well done girls.

Year 7 & 8 Hockey – On Monday 12 March, the Year 7 & 8 hockey team played against Norton Hill. With both teams working hard, Saint Gregory’s ended the match winning 9-2. The Saint Gregory’s team played amazingly well straight from the word go. They worked really well as a team which resulted in Patsy, Joe, Mia, Grace, Ruby & Raffy scoring 9 goals in total! Fantastic effort from everyone! There was amazing defensive work from both Olivia’s. Overall a brilliant game and well done to all those who were involved.
