Ella has had an absolutely amazing year in cross country. Ella has competed in the BANES cross country which qualified her for the Avon Schools cross country championships. She came in 8th place out of 30 for Avon and this qualified her for the South West Championships. She did superbly in the English Schools Cross Country, finishing 138 out of over 350 of the best under 15 girls in the country.
With a wind chill of -7C and very muddy conditions, it was a very tough race but, even when she lost her shoe with 500m to go, she didn’t stop and just kept going to the finish. Ella is an absolute credit to Saint Gregory’s and we are are extremely proud of her and her achievements.
