On Tuesday 12 March eight talented Year 10 Mathematicians represented St Gregory’s in the annual ‘Maths Feast’ competition
run by the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme.
The event was hosted at St Gregory’s and we welcomed teams from King Edwards, Haysfield, Beechen Cliff and Writhlington. The students worked in teams of 4, working on a number of mathematical challenges, requiring teamwork, skill and mathematical problem solving. The students performed exceptionally well, winning one of the four rounds and achieving 3rd place over all.
