We are seeking an organised, conscientious administrator with excellent attention to detail who will offer an efficient and professional HR and Finance administration service.

Contract type: 37 hours per week, all year round, permanent
Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm
Flexible working requests will be considered outside the hours stated
Start date: As soon as possible
Salary: Grade 3 SCP 5 – 6 £18,795 – £19,171
Closing date: Sunday 9 June, midnight

This is a varied and interesting role which forms an integral part of our administration support team. The role offers the opportunity to provide administrative support across the specialist fields of Finance and Human Resources including pensions, payroll and safeguarding.

The successful candidate will be emotionally intelligent, professional in manner, have an interest in working with numbers and with people. An ability to manage and prioritise tasks is essential as is the ability to be flexible in your approach to work, including managing a busy workload.

The HR and Finance Team at St Gregory’s is a small, professional team who are proud of the service they offer. The successful candidate will be able to work in a team and have a willingness to learn.

Applicants must have a minimum of five GCSE (or equivalent) passes at Grade C or above including English and Mathematics. Equally as important, however, are the ‘softer’ skills needed to deal with confidential information and sensitive situations.
