We have had an extremely successful season so far for Year 8, 9 & 10 rounders. Earlier on in the term St Gregory’s played a triangular fixture against Oldfield and Chew Valley with our Year 8,9 & 10 teams winning all their matches, with amazing catches and batting to bring the rounders home! In our second triangular fixture for Year 9 & 10 against Ralph Allen and Hayesfield the girls won each of their matches against Ralph Allen and narrowly lost out to Hayesfield by half a rounder.

The Year 10 rounders tournament was played brilliantly by St Gregory’s Year 10 girls who did not lose a match throughout the entire tournament. They won the final against Writhlington 9 1/2 – 5 rounders. This was a convincing win and the team effort was spectacular from all the girls.

Squad: Poppy, Ciara, Millie, Guilia, Helena, Ella, Tracy, Sophie and Mindy.

The Year 8 rounders tournament

The girls had a great tournament, they won 2 matches, drew one and lost one by half a rounder. Fantastic bowling from Jemima, excellent fielding from the team and tactical batting!
