As part of our Anniversary celebrations we are relaunching the House system at St Gregory’s. Mr Robinson and the student body have been hard at work redesigning the system and coming up with the four new Houses. They are Bakhita, Francis, Romero and Stein. The students were impressive in their research and the rationale they used to choose our new Houses. The final part of our work on the new Houses at the end of last term involved the designing of new logos and brainstorming characteristics of the Houses. A working party of students from across the school put together prototypes which were then made into digital graphics. We are delighted that we can now reveal all four of our new logos, full of symbolism and a huge part of this exciting new chapter in the history of our school.

Every student and member of staff has been split into these Houses in anticipation of an anniversary year full of House events and activities.

On Friday 20 September the school will celebrate the start of term with Mass and give thanks for 40 years of Catholic education at St Gregory’s. We will end the day with our Big Birthday Picnic. Students will spend Lesson 5 in their new Houses enjoying a ‘bring and share’ picnic on the field. Further information for students will follow via Tutors.
