On Tuesday evening, friends and family were treated to a lovely evening of dance from this year’s GCSE and A Level students. All students had worked incredibly hard on both choreographic and performance pieces and there was an incredible level of dedication and talent on show.
Pieces ranged from A Level work exploring choreographers from the Independent Contemporary Dance Scene in Britain through to individual choreographic work exploring ideas from the effects of smoke on a human body to the architecture of a modern museum. I am incredibly proud of all of these young people’s hard work and, whether they continue in the Performing Arts or not, I know that they will take the confidence, commitment and creativity they have shown forward into their futures.
