Monday to Thursday 7.00am – 3.00pm and Friday 7.00am – 2.30pm
(to include a 30 minute unpaid lunch break)
Salary: Grade L SCP 29-32 £25,951 – £28,485 (actual)

We are recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic Data and Cover Manager to join our supportive and friendly team.

The Data and Cover Manager role is a senior position within the Support Staff at St Gregory’s. The successful candidate will be expected to develop, manage and lead the data provision at Saint Gregory’s. The role requires high attention to detail and the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering on the broad range of data demands from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner. The role will primarily use SIMS, a school based software package so experience of SIMS would be ideal however not essential. The successful candidate must be willing to attend training sessions as appropriate.

As part of the role the Data and Cover Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the daily supply cover.

The successful candidate will act as the Data Protection Officer for the school and will be responsible for all aspects of this with the support of the Headmistress.

Applicants must be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have exceptional mathematical and computing skills.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of managing, analysing and reporting on base data;
  • Excellent IT skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office applications at a professional level, particularly Word and Excel;
  • Clear understanding of the principles of Data Protection;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.

We are recruiting for talented and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our supportive and friendly team.

The successful candidates will work as a Cover Supervisor and take charge of whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. When not required to provide cover the post-holders will also be part of our Student Support provision offering learning support to our students and administration support to colleagues.

Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 GCSE passes at Grade C or equivalent including literacy and numeracy and have the ability to safely manage classroom activities and the physical learning space. It is essential that applicants have experience of individual work or group work with children and young people, ideally within a school setting.

Applications are invited from individuals who are currently either working as a Cover Supervisor or an exceptional and aspiring education professional who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of individual work or group work with children, young people and families;
  • An understanding of child and family dynamics and child development;
