This week, from 11 – 14 February, a group of 25 students from Hangzhou Yuhang High School in China, joined classes with buddies from Saint Gregory’s across Years 8, 9 & 10.

Last week, Year 7 students on the Mandarin Excellence Programme enjoyed a workshop led by Bath’s Museum of East Asian Art. Drawing from the Museum’s work on the history of Chinese migration to the UK, the workshop explored ideas of family history and personal treasures.
After a delicious French breakfast of pains aux chocolat and a quick table tennis game, we set off to the market at St Hilaire du Harcouet where students had little tasks to perform.
Another beautiful day in Normandy! Last night, students took part in a sports tournament and today, the groups are taking part in orienteering and bread making.
Forty year 9 and 10 students are currently in Normandy, France on a MFL trip. The group left Bath on Sunday morning at 5am to arrive at their destination, the Château de la Baudonnière near Avranche, later that afternoon.
Earlier this week, we welcomed our MEP hub partners from Gumley House School and Didcot Girls’ School and organised a special tour of the city of Bath,
