Huge congratulations to the Year 7 and 8 athletics teams who were amazing on Tuesday, competing at Bath University in the minor athletics championships. The Year 7 team came 3rd overall against 14 schools and the Year 8 team came 2nd, also against 14 schools, which is a fantastic achievement.
Stand out performances came from Mia Regan 7B who won both the Long Jump and the High Jump, Bernie Whooley 8P and Emma Buckingham 8P who came 1st and 3rd respectively in the High Jump, Caoimhe Jones7JP who achieved 3rd in the Shot Putt, Olivia Griffin 7JP for coming 1st in 800m and Martha Lacey 7L for coming 3rd in Javelin.
Congratulations to all pupils involved – it was a great team effort.
