Last Friday, seven students of Mandarin from Years 10 and 11 went up to London to take part in the HSBC British Council Mandarin Speaking Competition.

The play was one they devised themselves about a short sighted stork, and they performed it with great panache.  After the performance they had time to visit China Town, the British Museum and the Oxford Street Christmas Lights.  Now it’s a case of waiting to hear if they have made it into the finals.
