On Tuesday 5 December, the U14 football squad played in the B&NES football tournament at Somervale. The squad consisted of Ciara, Helena, Poppy, Ella, Millie, Raffy, Mia, Daisy, Patsy, Jodi and Kaci. The girls played amazingly well, winning 3 of their matches and drawing in 3 of their matches. The games were action packed with lots of shots on goal and excellent tackling in defence. Our top goal scorer was Mia who scored 5 brilliant goals, Poppy and Raffy also scored cracking goals. Player of the tournament was Mia. Saint Gregory’s came runners up in a very closely contested tournament. They drew first place on points and goal difference but lost out on goals scored by 1 goal! They came very well deserved runners up. Congratulations to everyone who took part!
