The Camino Partnership of Schools invites you to our CAMINO CELEBRATION DAY on Sunday 24 June 2018 at All Hallows Preparatory School (Cranmore Hall, East Cranmore, Shepton Mallet BA4 4SF).

Mass is at 12.30pm followed by a Procession and Walk of Witness at 1.20pm and an afternoon picnic from 2.00pm.

The Catholic schools of the Camino Partnership are coming together mark the end of a year long project exploring our partnership identity.  The project has included chaplaincy teams from each school working on banners depicting their interpretation of ‘journey’ – as a Catholic community, a school, a town – a people with a common faith and journey.

In the words of Bishop Declan in his vision for the Diocese we:

“…should be places where Christ is celebrated, shared, proclaimed and lived, where everyone is welcomed and valued, and all have a sense of responsibility for the life of the community and the world.”

One of the important aspects of our sense of responsibility to the wider community is our desire to keep campaigning for the rights and dignity of refugees who themselves journey through the toughest circumstances.  Therefore, we have decided to spend a part of our day in solidarity with refugees by taking part in CAFOD’s ‘Share the Journey’ campaign.

To R.S.V.P or for further information, please contact Mr Matt Robinson, School Chaplain, by email robinsonm@st-gregorys.org.uk by Friday 15th June 2018.

Bring a picnic along.
