Y10/11 Rugby vs. Ralph Allen
A slow start saw Ralph Allen run in two early tries but one thing this team certainly doesn’t lack is character and effort and they fought their way back bravely into the game. Good forward play from the likes of Harry O’L and William D set a platform for some running rugby. This led to two good scores from the destructive Ethan L and Kieron S. The game ebbed and flowed but Ralph Allen ran in two more scores before the break meaning St. Greg’s were down at half time. The team improved their defensive structure in the second half and this led to Ralph Allen not scoring a single point more. Joe K was controlling the game at fly half and men of the match Harvey R and Charlie McC were dominating up front. St. Greg’s showed a real togetherness and played some great rugby in the second half. The team ran in 19 unanswered points and held on for a deserved victory. Well done to all involved.

Y8 Rugby vs. Ralph Allen
St. Gregory’s battled hard in the first half and great defensive work from the likes of Jago B and Jamie B limited a strong team of opponents to three tries against. Better work from the forwards in the second half gave the team a platform to play some running rugby and this culminated in a well deserved try for ourselves with Luke M crashing over. Bertie L was superb all afternoon and rightly gained the man of the match performance. Defensive shape and passing the ball are two areas to work on next game.
