Massive praise must go to our five sixth formers who produced an inspiring and highly skilled performance of Sad Club in the Weston Studio at Bristol Old Vic  on Friday 5th April as part of the National Theatre Connections festival.

The performances were full of subtlety, humour and reflective emotion as the piece explored the complex issues of mental health in young people and learning to celebrate who you are. The performance was made even more impressive by the fact that due to Marcus’ illness, Amelia stepped in at the last minute to shine in this complex and challenging musical.

Well done to Hannah, Ollie, Matilda and Aimee and enormous thanks to all the staff at the Old Vic who were so supportive and positive throughout the day.
