Thank you to everyone who came along to our first PTFA meeting of the year! It was lovely to see so many new faces as well as those who have given their support to the PTFA in the past.

It was a very productive meeting, full of enthusiasm and great ideas and we’re keen to keep the momentum going. It was very clear, from all of the discussions, that there are three distinct areas of focus going forwards:

  1. Support the school with some much-needed fundraising – capital projects and smaller, everyday needs;
  2. Help provide great opportunities for our children;
  3. Create opportunities for the development and nurture of a strong shared sense of community amongst parents, staff and the wider St Gregory’s community.

We don’t yet have a committee but are working towards this and would love to hear from anyone who may be willing to lend a hand or support – in whatever capacity! Every parent and carer is automatically a member of the PTFA and the more of you we have to call upon, even if just once or twice a year, the more capacity we have to make a difference so, please do consider getting in touch.

Our next meeting is on Tuesday 21 May at 6pm in The Well, located on the first floor of the Gateway Building (sixth form). Tea, coffee and gorgeous biscuits provided!

Everyone is very welcome but please RSVP (for numbers) to ptfa@st-gregorys.org.uk. If you can’t attend but would like to be included on our mailing list, please also email.
