Twenty Chinese students from PingDong School, Fuzhou visited Saint Gregory’s from 1 – 5 July 2019, facilitated by Bath-based language school Elac.
Their visit began with a welcome presentation and tour of the school. The Chinese spent the week attending a broad range of curriculum classes with Saint Gregory’s buddies across Years 7, 8, 9 & 10. Great friendships were made, and students were interested to share about language and culture in England and China. The week culminated with a ceremony in the Hall, with the Chinese students being presented with a certificate in recognition of their time at Saint Gregory’s. The integration of international students for week-long programmes is in line with Saint Gregory’s commitment to internationalism, with international learning and activities being firmly embedded throughout the school, enabling students to gain skills for life in today’s global society.
