On Thursday 19 November St Gregory’s swimmers (Evie, Elliott, Ophelia, Sophie, Austin) entered the BSSA 2019 Swimming Gala. Well done to everyone who took part and congratulations to Sophie and Austin who have qualified for the individual event finals. Sophie qualified for the 50 butterfly and Austin the 50 backstroke finals.
There were over 500 competitors in the championships this year, of whom 129 qualified for the final. The final of the 2019 Bristol Schools Swimming Association Secondary Championships is on the 5 December at Easton leisure centre. We wish Sophie and Austin the very best of luck!!
