St Gregory’s students once again excelled as they tackled the challenges of Sondheim’s “Into The Woods.” Over 80 cast members from Year 7 -13 took on the dark, but funny tale of family feuds and self-discovery with great commitment and energy.
As usual, they set their standards high and invariably reached them. It was a joy to see the ownership and care the students have taken over this most demanding show. There were so many accomplished performances from students who produced work well beyond their years.
The clarity of the storytelling, the emotional drive in the performances and the incredible support the cast, crew and orchestra showed for each other across this run has been a key feature of this production.
We are immensely proud of what our young people have achieved and look forward with great anticipation to the Summer Show, knowing what a wonderful ensemble we have to draw from.
