Saint Gregory’s students have been invited to take part in a special Q&A session with members of the British Bobsleigh & Skeleton team. Read on to find out more…

British Skeleton and Bobsleigh athletes, in partnership with UK Sport, are on a mission to inspire the nation and encourage children to take part in sport. Organised by the University of Bath, 8 athletes from both British Skeleton and Bobsleigh will be taking part in a special Q&A session with our students. Their profiles can be found below but students are encouraged to carry out their own research as well.

What is Skeleton and Bobsleigh?

If you haven’t seen these sports in action before you can see a clip here:  https://youtu.be/oRf5v4lJaSs

How can you get involved?

Think of a question you would like to ask using the bio’s of each Bobsleigh and Skeleton athlete to help you choose the best question e.g. How are you continuing to train during the current lockdown?

Your questions can either be written or recorded on a video and will need to be emailed to Mrs McHale.

Mrs McHale will then forward the questions on to the athletes for them to record their answers. They will then make a video for Saint Gregory’s!

This is an amazing opportunity to ask questions to international athletes – GO FOR IT! You have until Wednesday 20 May to submit your questions.
