The whole school joined together this week to raise money for the Ben Saunders Foundation (BSF). The school was awash with pink and black in honour of Ben, with staff and students sharing in the fundraising spirit.

The day was very special, and a particular mention must go to sixth form students, Sam B and Andrew K, who dedicated many hours promoting the cause and selling BSF merchandise. They both felt that the cause was important to them, and the rest of the sixth form.

Ben was a much-loved student at St Gregory’s and it was wonderful to see the whole community come together and in aid of such a worthwhile and important cause.

The Ben Saunders Foundation (BSF) was created by Ben to raise funds to support children and young adults with cancer within the UK. They look to offer support to families to help with their difficult challenges ahead. The Foundation is always looking to expand support so please do visit the website and get in touch to see what you can do to bring about positive change.

If you are yet to contribute to this wonderful cause, then please log in and donate via Scopay – we will keep it open till early next week.

We are still running the totals but so far we have raised is £1,266 – an amazing amount.

A huge thank you to all of you who have already donated.
