It’s basically FREE MONEY! If you normally shop in Sainsbury’s or Tesco for your weekly food, why not consider going online to order? You get your groceries delivered to your door and could raise up to 50p per order – that’s a whopping £26 per year! On Tuesday, our rock bands put on a fantastic performance to a packed hall full of students and staff. Huge congratulations to our super band members, who performed with incredible musicianship and flair, and a massive thank you to Mr Baker for his expertise in coaching our students.

We take great pleasure in announcing that we have just been awarded the prestigious Performing Arts Gold Award from the Arts Council. Huge congratulations to the Performing Arts team on this incredible achievement.

This week, the St Gregory's community has been proud to celebrate Children’s Mental Health Week through the theme “This Is Your Place.” Students have helped to curate a beautiful display of images and personal reflections, sharing the experiences that have made them feel that they truly belong in our school family. Together, through reflection and shared activities, we have celebrated what it means to ensure that at St Gregory's Catholic College, everyone knows that this is their place.

Today our school caterers, Sodexo, treated us to some delicious Chinese food in celebration of Lunar New Year.

All this week we've had a group of Year 10s sharing the Kintbury experience with one of our fellow Lasallian schools, St Margaret Ward from Stoke and Archbishop McGrath, Bridgend. Embracing the model retreat of Welcome, Awareness, Reconciliation and Good News, all of the students have taken part in games, workshops, presentations, group discussion and prayer in the most dynamic of ways.

Each tutor group has taken the time to assemble a Christmas Hamper and on Thursday, with Mr Robinson and Mrs Boutland-Smith, students delivered them to Julian House Homeless Shelter, Bath Women's Refuge, RUH Children's ward and a local care home.

Today, our Year 10 Young Volunteer Team raised £122 by selling hot chocolate, home made Christmas treats and photos with our very own Santa. With this money they’ll be making meals to hand out to the homeless during a cold and miserable January.

On Tuesday 16 December approximately 150 students from St Gregory’s and St John’s are due to be leading us in music and scripture. There are FREE mince pies and mulled wine from 5.15 – 6.00pm in the hall connected to the Church.
