We have had the great pleasure of the company of Ms Sanghamitra Pal, Deputy Headteacher of MCKV School in Calcutta, India with us for the week.
She has been teaching and observing classes, meeting with pupils and staff and visiting the sights of Bath as part of the Connecting Classrooms programme under the auspices of the British Council. Mr McDermott visited MCKV earlier this year. We hope that we will be able to continue to develop this partnership over the next two years with further staff visits and in time to arrange exchange visits by students.
We send our greetings to the staff and pupils (3,000 boys aged 3 – 18) of MCKV and wish Ms Pal a safe journey back to Calcutta.
