Last Friday, it was the turn of Year 9 take part in a ‘Wellbeing Day,’ in which students were given the day off from school work and were able to take part in a range of activities designed to help take care of our mental health and strengthen us as a school community.

Students took part in all kinds of activities, from baking and dance to creative writing and Fantasy Football. Students really threw themselves into it and some of the competition for the challenges was fierce! A page celebrating the day is attached. What a delight to see our students getting so involved and enjoying a special day, just for them. This Friday, 3rd July, is our final Wellbeing Day this term, especially for Y11 & Y12 students. I hope they really enjoy their day as well.

I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff who have created activities for this day, as it is their efforts which have gone in to making the days so memorable for the students. It is so important to take time to relax and celebrate the activities we love and I am very grateful.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and can find some time to work on your own wellbeing too.
