We are very much looking forward to seeing our students next week and welcoming them back to Saint Gregory’s. We have updated our Return to School Guide setting out the plans that we have in place to allow us all to return to school as safely as possible. Much of the information will be familiar from Terms 1 and 2, however, please take the time to sit with your son/daughter to go through the information contained within this document ahead of the return to school on Thursday 11 March.
There are a number of changes to the arrangements going forward and it is important that we all understand our individual and collective responsibilities to ensure all members of our community remain safe and well. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact your son/daughter’s tutor who will be able to provide support and guidance.
A reminder of the arrangements for next week:
Monday 8 March
LFD Testing will be available on site for Year 9 & 10 students
Work will be set via Google Classroom, there will be no live lessons or tutor times.
Tuesday 9 March
LFD Testing will be available on site for Year 7 & 8 students
Work will be set via Google Classroom, there will be no live lessons or tutor times.
Wednesday 10 March
LFD Testing will be available on site for catch-ups
Work will be set via Google Classroom, there will be no live lessons or tutor times.
Thursday 11 March – Return to school for ALL students
All students will be expected to return to school for a full timetable of face to face teaching from Thursday 11 March when they will be offered a further two LFD tests. Arrangements for sixth form students will be
communicated directly by the sixth form team to enable a more fluid return to lessons.
Students should enter school through their designated entrance and proceed to tutor for an extended tutor time from 8.45am.
