The PTFA Annual General Meeting (AGM), being held on Wednesday 28 September at 7pm in the Gateway Building (sixth form). It is the yearly meeting for all members of the association, inclusive of ALL parents and carers and Saint Gregory’s staff, where elections take place for vacant positions on the PTFA and the year’s events are reported on. It’s an opportunity for the committee to show that it’s accountable for the decisions taken and that the committee members have acted in the best interests of the association and also to discuss the PTFA events for the upcoming year.

Each role does not have to be taken on by one individual, they can be shared amongst a number of parents or friends, so please don’t feel daunted by the roles and think they aren’t for you. They just might be! Attached to this email are some very basic descriptions of what’s involved in the committee roles*, as well as last year’s minutes and the agenda. It goes without saying that these roles are critical to the future of the PTFA so please do consider if you would be able to support in any capacity.
