Saint Gregory’s recently welcomed a group of 26 Spanish students from Colexio Salesiano María Auxiliadora, Vigo, Spain, from 20 September to 7 October 2022. Following arrival and welcome at school, the Spanish students attended a broad range of curriculum classes across Year 10. Throughout their integration programme friendships were formed with Year 10 buddies and classmates, giving opportunity to share and learn about each other’s countries, culture and language. The Spanish students were presented with certificates at the end of their stay in acknowledgement of their time at Saint Gregory’s. Saint Gregory’s provides a wide range of international activities throughout each academic year, ensuring that international learning is firmly embedded across the school, enabling students to be fully equipped for life and work in today’s global society.
