Twenty Year 13 students completed their Gold D of E Expedition in the Brecon Beacons earlier this term. Students camped out for four days and had to carry all their equipment and food. They all started and finished in Abergavenny and were supported by BXM Expeditions.
Fortunately the weather was dry and warm throughout. Everyone was buzzing at the end and clearly had an amazing experience. The exhaustion was real though and some very tired Sixth Formers braved school the next day!
