Twenty four students from Fuzhou in China visited Saint Gregory’s from 3 – 7 July 2023.

The Chinese students were welcomed to the school at a special presentation session on Monday morning.  They were given a tour of the school site by school buddies in Years 7 & 8.  The students attended a broad range of curriculum classes, following their own timetables with the support of their student buddies.  Great friendships were made, and students had opportunity to share and learn about each other’s countries, cultures and languages.  The week culminated with a ceremony during which the Chinese students were presented with certificates in recognition of their time at Saint Gregory’s.  One of our sixth form students, Emil, gave a fantastic musical performance and the Chinese students signed artwork whilst reflecting on the many great experiences spent throughout their time at our school.  Internationalism is firmly embedded at Saint Gregory’s, with international learning and activities taking place throughout the academic year, equipping students with a wide range of skills for life in today’s global world.
