Chepstow Castle
On Tuesday 8 and Thursday 10 November all of our Year 7 cohort visited Chepstow Castle in Wales as part of their ongoing study in History on the Norman invasion and conquest and their work on the first castles in Britain and their defences.
Remembrance
The History Department has been working with students in KS3 to commemorate Remembrance Week in school.
A Warm Welcome to Students from Vigo, Spain
A group of 25 students from three schools in Vigo, Spain, IES San Tomé de Freixeiro, Colegio Plurilingüe Alba and O Castro British International School, visited Saint Gregory’s from 17 October to 3 November 2022, as part of a Vigo municipality initiative for students to experience programmes of intensive language and cultural learning.
Year 12 Oxbridge Candidates’ Trip to Trinity Hall College, Cambridge
This week eight of our of Year 12 students had the fantastic opportunity to visit and stay overnight at Trinity Hall College, Cambridge.

Ukraine Refugee Donations
Many of you have been asking about whether St Gregory’s are able to open up channels for donating items to those fleeing Ukraine. I know many of us have heard of collection points and the Disaster Emergency Committee has received enormous donations.
